| Q: |
Is it difficult to switch to Ridgeback?
|
| A: |
Switching to Ridgeback is easy. The pros at Digital Ingenuity will handle all
of the logistics. Ordering and provisioning broadband circuits, porting your
telephone numbers without interruption to Ridgeback as well as configuring and
installing your phones. Then DI’s training staff will provide an on-site
orientation for your employees.

 |
| Q: |
When we switch to Ridgeback will my company experience any downtime?
|
| A: |
No. The cutover to Ridgeback seamless. There will be no downtime and no missed
calls.
|
 |
| Q: |
What about voice quality?
|
| A: |
Digital Ingenuity's Ridgeback service provides crystal clear, toll quality voice.
DI routes call voice streams over a private network – NOT the Internet – thereby
providing clear, consistent and secure calls every time.
|
 |
| Q: |
Don’t IP telephone calls over the Internet have poor quality (sound "choppy")?
|
| A: |
Yes. That’s exactly why Digital Ingenuity does NOT route calls over the Internet.
In addition to poor quality, calls routed over the Internet are not secure and
inadequate for business communications.

 |
| Q: |
My Company has a large central headquarters and several smaller remote locations.
How would Ridgeback help us?
|
| A: |
Ridgeback is clearly the best solution for your business! Here’s why: With
Ridgeback, your entire organization is using a single phone system. The smaller
offices have all of the same equipment and advanced telephony features which the
large central location enjoys. The fact that your remote office may be in another
building across the street or across the country, it does not matter to Ridgeback. For example, if Jim has an extension 2324 on his Ridgeback phone at the Philadelphia office and wants to call Mary with the extension 2756 at the Washington DC office, Jim simply dials "2756" and is immediately connected to Mary.

 |
| Q: |
How large is your service area?
|
| A: |
The majority of Ridgeback customers are located in the Philadelphia metro
tri-state area of Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey. However, DI’s Ridgeback
service is available in 26 major metropolitan areas in the continental
US including Baltimore, Washington DC, New York City, Northern New Jersey,
Boston, Chicago, Miami, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Dallas. If your company
has Ridgeback phones in any location which DI serves, calls between your offices
are always FREE and may be dialed as extensions (e.g. four digits, etc.).
|
 |
| Q: |
What is the cost for moves, adds and changes?
|
| A: |
With Ridgeback there is a one-time fee for installation and configuration of a
new phone. After that, any moves, adds or changes to the configuration of that
phone is always FREE. For example, if an employee leaves the company and a new
one takes their place, there is no charge to reconfigure the phone for the new
employee and create a new voice mail box for them.
|
 |
| Q: |
How long does it take for a move, add or change to be made?
|
| A: |
Typically, these maintenance requests are handled immediately and remotely.
Sometimes within a few hours and rarely does it take longer than one business
day.
|
 |
| Q: |
What happens if a Ridgeback phone needs repair?
|
| A: |
All repairs are FREE. If your phone needs replacement, it will be delivered
within one business day. For larger Ridgeback deployments, "hot spares" will
be kept on your site so a new replacement phone will be back in service within
minutes.
